Rangiku is highly dedicated to her position as Head Nurse at Karakura General Hospital. She strives to provide the best care possible to her patients and treats both her patients and her nurses with respect and compassion. She receives a lot of compliments and requests for her care from her patients, mostly the male ones; she prefers to see these as proof of her excellent nursing skills, as opposed to because of her natural assets. (She is aware that by modifying her scrub tops so they’re “less restrictive and more breathable”, ie. widening the V-front, probably does get her a little more attention than the other nurses.)
While she takes great pride in her position as Head Nurse, she does not enjoy all of the paperwork that goes along with it. In fact, she has been known to nap in the lounges when she should be doing her paperwork (she’s even been found in the doctors’ lounge on a few occasions.) Between her duties as Head Nurse and her duties as a shinigami, she rarely has any free time, but when she does, she enjoys hanging out at the bar after work and spending time with her friends.
